WHO AM I?
My Artist Journey
Growing up, I didn’t know what I wanted my career to be. However, I started taking art seriously when I was about 12 years old. I would draw whenever I could, and I was encouraged to pursue my talent as a career by both my parents and by my aunt who worked in the film industry. As the years went on, I worked vigorously to improve and refine my skills as an artist. I switched my canvas from school notebooks to an iPad, and started drawing digitally. I eventually got to the point where I was getting art commissions, such as creating stickers for Nothing Bundt Cakes, where I worked as a cashier.

After I graduated high school in 2022 and went to study film at CCAC, I began to experiment with other mediums like costuming and sculpting. I used a combination of my artistic skills to create cosplays, which I used to build an audience on various social media. Around the same time, I submitted an art piece for a character design contest and won. My character ended up becoming the mascot for the online film festival, the Analog Horror Film Fest. After spending 2 years at CCAC, I transferred to Point Park University to study in their Animation program. However, while my appreciation for animation is deep, I came to realize that cosplay, sculpting, and crafting was my real calling. In fact, over the past summer, I received an honorable mention at the Tekko Con 2025 Cosplay contest for my Pumpkin Rabbit cosplay. I still graduated from Point Park in 2026 with a BA in Animation, but I left with a reinvigorated thirst for knowledge. I plan to partake in the Tom Savini Makeup Program at the Douglas School of Education this fall.
As for my current work, I go back and forth between digital art and cosplaying, as well as improving my skills in other art forms. I have years of experience in digital art, primarily using programs like Procreate, Ibis paint, and Adobe Photoshop. I have also studied animation, using both 2D programs like Toon Boom Harmony and motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects. I have worked with 3D art, but the majority of my output is 2D. I also work with a variety of physical art mediums, such as painting, sewing, and sculpting.
